A mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. For Buddhist practitioners, their mala is a very precious and meaningful object for them.

During this mala making workshop, you’ll have a chance to make a mala and take it home with you. You can also bring malas to repair.

No experience necessary. Everyone welcome.

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited, please register by July 24 to reserve your space.

Children ages 10 and older are welcome with parent supervision.

Cost is $30 if you’d like to make a mala to take home with you. If you’d like to come make malas that will be sold in our bookstore, there is no cost.
