After a brief introduction with Buddhist Teacher, Dorothy Stafford, you will learn the traditional Buddhist technique for making and using a mala. A mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. For Buddhist practitioners, their mala is a very precious and meaningful object for them.
During this mala making workshop, you’ll have a chance to make a mala and take it home with you. You can also bring malas to repair.
No experience necessary. Everyone welcome.
