Life's challenges get the better of all of us from time to time, and sometimes leave us feeling inadequate, disappointed, or discouraged.  All of us face this discouragement occasionally, but by applying Buddha's time-tested advice, we can learn how to transform every adversity into an opportunity for real spiritual growth.  These teachings on transforming our everyday adversities into the spiritual path are known as "Lojong", or "training the mind", instructions.  Lojong instructions enable us to tackle any challenge with a light and happy mind, transforming even the most difficult situations into a chance to make our life truly meaningful.
