Meditation Classes for Children
Sundays, 10:30 – 11:30am
at Ganden Center with Kelsang Tabkay
Free; donations welcome
Kids need just as much help with problems such as anger, jealousy, and attachment as adults do. During Ganden Center’s weekly meditation class for children, kids learn about and meditate on the same topics that the adults upstairs do, just in kid-friendly terms. Every class includes hands-on activities that are integrated with the lesson.
These classes are ideal for elementary school-aged children. It is recommended that children of pre-school age and younger be accompanied by an adult. Kids 12 and older will probably enjoy the teen class more than the “little kid class.”
At Ganden Center, our children’s class is taught by American Buddhist monk, Kelsang Tabkay.
Tabkay has been working with kids for many years and the kids adore him!
Most Sundays, Tabkay is also assisted by a second adult.
