Special Event
Overcoming Loneliness
LIVESTREAM - Saturday, March 20 (replays available)
Feel Connected & Inspired
Feeling lonely can be very painful, and the pandemic may be increasing our feelings of loneliness. But even before social distancing, we may have sometimes felt alone even among a group of friends. This shows that feelings of loneliness are related to our state of mind, not our physical company.
Buddha taught various ways of thinking to help us overcome our feelings of isolation. And in meditation we can learn to experience the truth of our interconnection with all living beings. In this way we can feel inspired and meaningfully connected to everyone we meet or think about.
We can also learn to enjoy our own company without loneliness – this course will explain how.
Everyone is welcome.
