We live in a world where distractions are growing increasingly intense. However, in order to find deep inner peace, we need to find a way to move beyond these distractions and improve our concentration. During this day course, learn techniques to increase concentration both in and out of meditation. Everyone is welcome.
Training in Concentration, Part 2
During the day course, students will receive instructions to participate in an optional seven-week daily meditation training at home.
Training in Concentration, Part 3
Those who attend the day course and participate in daily meditation at home (Part 2) will be eligible to participate in a silent meditation retreat May 25–28 at Camp Kinard located in Batesburg-Leesville. Click here for more information and to register for the retreat.
About the Teacher
Kelsang Jangchen is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center South Carolina. She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for almost 20 years.
Jangchen teaches with warmth and compassion, offering practical methods to help people experience more peace and happiness in their daily lives.
