Meditation classes for everyone with Buddhist monk, Kelsang Tabkay

Mondays in Greenville, 6:30pm – 7:45pm

It is so easy to focus on what we don’t have and take things for granted until they pass us by. If we really want to be happy and of benefit to others, we need to learn the practice of appreciating the good in ourself and others now. This practice of appreciation or “rejoicing” is an ancient meditation practice that we can learn to use to uplift our mind and increase our positive qualities.

Attend the whole series or just drop in as your schedule allows. Each class includes a guided breathing meditation, a brief prayer, teaching, and an additional meditation.

Everyone welcome. No prior experience necessary.

Seven Meditations For A Happy Life

In the busyness of daily life, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and to lose sight of what really matters: our love and compassion. In this special meditation series, Buddhist monk Gen Tabkay will explain the time tested Buddhist meditations known as the “seven-fold cause and effect”. These practices have been used for centuries to develop our inner qualities of love and compassion. By gaining experience of these meditations, we can learn to increase our inner peace, benefit others, and manifest our greatest spiritual potential.
