Feelings: A Buddhist Perspective
$12.00
Wednesday Evening Class 6-7:15pm
We all want to feel good. But have you ever wondered, what feelings are and where they come from?
Our feelings are present in every moment—either positive, negative or neutral. Normally we put a lot of time and energy into choosing activities that we hope will give rise to pleasant feelings. But does feeling happy come from the activity or from the mind?
Buddha teaches that our feelings are the result of our previous actions, or our karma. And our karma is created by our mind. Therefore, in order to feel good all the time we need to understand our mind.
Through understanding our mind, we can learn that each of us has the potential to create the life we want—full of peace, happiness and the ability to benefit others. There is nothing more meaningful.
Everyone is welcome
