Creating Inner Peace

Saturday, November 14 in Greenville, 10am – 1:00pm

Taught by Resident Teacher, modern Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Tabkay

Inner peace is not something we find — it is something we create. This is one of the most hopeful insights of Buddhist meditation: that the peace, clarity, and happiness we long for are not dependent on our outer circumstances. They can be developed, cultivated, and made unshakeable through training the mind.

In this half-day retreat in Greenville, Gen Tabkay will guide us in the foundational meditation practices that create inner peace from the inside out — teaching us how to release mental agitation, work with difficult thoughts and emotions, and gradually establish a deep and lasting sense of well-being that nothing outside can take away.

This retreat is suitable for all levels of experience, from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. Everyone is welcome!
