Gen Kelsang Takbay

Resident Teacher

Kelsang Tabkay has been a practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism and student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for 18 years.

Ordained as a Buddhist monk in 2013, he has previously served as Resident Teacher of KMC South Carolina and KMC Phoenix, and guided many retreats at International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon.

He is known for giving accessible and practical teachings, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others.

Mark has been a part of KMC South Carolina since 2002. He has taught numerous classes and workshops both at the Center and around the region. Mark is a member of the Teacher Training Program, and presents the teachings in a light-hearted and insightful way.
