The weekly classes usually start with a breathing meditation. Then there is a teaching on topics such as love, compassion, reducing stress or improving relationships. And the class concludes with another meditation to help folks integrate what they’ve learned into their daily life.
There’s often time to hang out afterwards and chat with the teacher and others over snacks and tea.
Do I Have to be Buddhist to Benefit from Meditation?
Everyone is welcome, because everyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind.
Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.
