Reinvent Yourself: Creating Better Habits with Meditation
with Special Guest Teacher, National Spiritual Director, Kadam Morten Clausen
Wednesday, March 11 in Columbia, 6:30pm – 8pm
It is easy for us to feel stuck in our patterns of the past. We may find ourselves repeating the same thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, even when they no longer serve us. According to Buddha’s teachings, however, nothing about us is fixed. Through meditation and practical wisdom, we can let go of old habits and deliberately cultivate new, healthier ways of thinking and living.
In this transformative public talk and meditation, International meditation teacher Kadam Morten Clausen will explain how meditation helps us break free from unhelpful mental patterns and build positive habits that support the life we truly want. We will learn simple methods for transforming our mind, gaining inner strength, and creating genuine change from within.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice. The session includes a guided meditation to help you begin the process of inner transformation right away.
Registration in advance is essential, space is limited and this event is expected to sell out. Following this talk will be a meditation series “Building Better Habits” with Resident Teacher and Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Tabkay.
