Talk and Graveyard Walk

This Halloween, Buddhist monk Gen Tabkay will offer an engaging talk on the Buddhist understanding of death and impermanence — exploring how contemplating our mortality, far from being morbid, can awaken us to the beauty of life, free us from petty concerns, and inspire us to live with greater kindness and purpose.
Following the talk, we will take a graveyard walk in the historic Circular Church to bring these reflections alive in a memorable and surprisingly peaceful setting.
Session Schedule:
10am – 11:15am — Talk and guided meditation
11:15am -11:30am — Graveyard walk
