Silent Retreat:
Breathe for Inner Peace
Teachings and meditations for everyone with our Resident Teacher, modern Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Tabkay
Saturday, December 19, 10am – 1pm in Columbia
In the midst of the holiday season — with its noise, busyness, and endless demands — there is something profoundly counter-cultural and healing about choosing silence. This special half-day silent retreat invites you to set everything down and simply breathe.
Through guided meditation and periods of silent practice, we will use the breath as an anchor — a simple, always-available doorway into the natural peace and clarity of our own mind. No matter how long you have been meditating, this retreat offers a beautiful opportunity to return to the basics and rediscover the profound power of present-moment awareness.
Our retreat is appropriate for every level of meditator, but is especially well-suited to those who are just beginning.
Everyone welcome; no prior experience necessary.
