Curious about meditation or looking for a welcoming community? Come along to our Open House and discover what Kadampa Meditation Center South Carolina has to offer! This is a relaxed, friendly event designed for anyone who wants to learn more about our center, our classes, and the tradition of Kadampa Buddhism.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy a short guided meditation, meet our teachers and community, ask questions, and explore how regular meditation practice can benefit your everyday life.

Entry is free and everyone is warmly welcome. Bring a friend!

About the Teacher

Gen Kelsang Tabkay has been a practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism and student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for 18 years.

Ordained as a Buddhist monk in 2013, he has previously served as Resident Teacher of KMC South Carolina and KMC Phoenix, and guided many retreats at International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon.

He is known for giving accessible and practical teachings, dedicating himself to bringing peace into the hearts of others.
