The Power of Imagining a Perfect World
Sunday, September 11 @ 3 – 5pm
Description
“It is a remarkable quality of the mind that we first create objects in our imagination and then bring them into our everyday reality.” – Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Because our mind is unbounded and limitless, we have the power to create the peaceful, joyful, loving world we want to live in. Everything comes from mind. As our understanding of mind grows and improves, we will naturally put more effort into cultivating and enjoying peace from within. In this way we can learn to abide in a pure world right here, right now.
Everyone is welcome.
Optional Retreat
You will also learn how to make traditional mandala offerings. Please bring your mandala kit if you have one; if not, you can still join in and learn. An optional self-guided retreat will follow.
