During this very special weekend, Kelsang Jangchen will grant the blessing empowerment of White Tara, an enlightened being who bestows long life, good fortune and wisdom.

We need a long life to complete our spiritual practice, we need wisdom to free ourselves and others from our daily pain and problems, and we need good fortune or positive energy to achieve a long-lasting experience of inner peace and happiness.

About the Teacher

Kelsang Jangchen is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center South Carolina. She has been meditating for 20 years and teaches with warmth and compassion. Jangchen offers practical methods to help people experience more peace and happiness in their daily lives.

Who is White Tara?

White Tara is a female Buddha of wisdom, long life and good fortune.

What is an Empowerment?

An empowerment includes teachings and guided meditations through which we connect with Arya White Tara and receive her blessings. This helps us to connect to our pure potential and enjoy a pure world of peace and happiness
