A Buddhist Perspective on Chaos and Conflict

In these changing and turbulent times, we all face challenges and disruptions to our normal routines and relationships, which can lead us to feeling worry and insecurity. During this special half day course, we will experience the power of meditation to calm our mind and to create a positive outlook so we can face our daily challenges with self-confidence.
Buddha taught that our mind has the power to shape our reality. We will learn to make our mind happy as well as learn to calm ourselves when we feel upset. These meditations have been used for thousands of years and have helped many people find freedom from anxiety and worry.

11:45am-1:00pm
Each session begins at the times stated above. Once the livestream has finished a recorded video of each session will be available on demand through Zoom. An email with the links to access the video’s on demand will be sent following the last live session. These videos will be available for viewing for 48 hours.

About the Teacher
Gen Tenzin is a Buddhist monk of over 20 years and has taught Kadampa Buddhism extensively for over 21 years throughout the United States. He encourages students to bring their practice of Buddha’s teachings into their daily lives, bringing joy to as many people as possible. He has a great depth of understanding of the teachings and is skillful in his presentation by sharing them in an entertaining, approachable, and kind-hearted manner.
