Finding Peace in Impermanence Retreat
Teachings and meditations for everyone with modern Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Tabkay
Saturday, October 24, 10am – 1pm in Columbia
Change is the one constant of our lives — yet most of us resist it, fearing loss and clinging to what cannot last. This half-day retreat invites us to turn toward impermanence with curiosity and courage, discovering how an honest understanding of change can become a profound source of freedom, gratitude, and inner peace.
Through teachings and guided meditations, Gen Tabkay will explore how Buddhist wisdom on impermanence can liberate us from unnecessary suffering, help us appreciate the preciousness of each moment, and motivate us to make the most of this human life.
Each session will include a short teaching and guided meditation. Everyone is welcome — no prior meditation experience necessary.
