Vajrasattva Purification Retreat
Teachings and meditations for everyone with our Resident Teacher, modern Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Tabkay
Saturday, January 2, 10am – 3:30pm in Columbia
Vajrasattva is the Buddha of purification — a luminous, compassionate being whose mantra and practice have the power to cleanse even the heaviest negative karma and restore the natural purity of our mind. This is one of the most powerful and widely practiced purification methods in the Mahayana tradition.
In this special retreat, we will receive teachings on Vajrasattva practice and engage in mantra recitation and guided meditation, allowing the blessings of this enlightened being to wash through our mind and create the conditions for lasting happiness and spiritual growth.
This retreat is a beautiful way to begin the new year with clarity, lightness, and a renewed sense of purpose on the path.
Everyone welcome; no prior experience necessary.
